Ladies

Ladies Rugby started at Cullompton in 1997 with a group of girls with little or no knowledge of the game, but with good coaching and veracious appetite to learn the team has done from strength to strength.

In 2002 we showed our intent for bigger and better things to come by winning the South of England Shield. We have spent many successful years in South West 2 league and 2006/7 season saw our historic promotion to South & West 1 league. In this coming 08/09 season Cullompton Ladies made the decision to move to the National Challenge 2 South West to build and sustain a high level of Ladies rugby at CRFC.

We have players who represent the South West and also have two players in the U19 England squad which demonstrates the rich bank of talent we have in our team. Our junior squads are also producing some new talent to ensure our future ability to keep our current momentum of success on the boil!

Supported well by the club we have two qualified coaches and some of the best facilities that can be found in the South West, with a great friendly and social atmosphere, Cullompton is a great place to start or develop your love for Rugby.

Give us a try - training is at Cullompton RFC on Wednesday nights from 7 - 9pm

with league and friendly matches played on Sundays.
